Idea to make a wedding scrapbook fold-out album
1- To begin we need a 61-62 cm x 50 cm cardboard as a base for the pattern of our album. The clean cuts of the pattern with the black lines and dashes indicate the folds of the album.
2- Once the pattern is transferred to the cardboard and after cutting it and folding it, we are going to create an envelope.
We fold the 2 cm flap inwards and then the 20 cm piece. We will glue this flap and one of the margins of the piece to the center to create the envelope. The rest of the pieces we fold them towards the opposite side to the envelope.
3- When we have the finished envelope, we can start decorating each of the parts of the album. We decorate the different pieces of cardboard with pieces of paper that are 0.5 cm less, that is, if the piece is 20 cm x 20 cm, the paper will be 19.5 cm x 19.5 cm.
4- We combine the scrapbook papers so that the design is as beautiful as possible. For example, on the opposite sides we use the same paper to make it symmetrical.
We have used the scrapbooking papers from scrapbooking.com.au paper collections.
5- Finally we cut a 19 cm x 19 cm card and die cut the edge. This card goes inside the envelope.
Trick to die correctly
We start to die in the middle of the paper and we complete towards the ends. To do this, we match the dies that we have already made with the drawings of the die cutter.
6- To finish our album we add some cutouts from the collection and some paper flowers with pearls.
